We act as an intermediary between the customer and shipping lines, ports, and agents.

  1. Quotations & Prices
  • All quotations are estimates only and subject to change.
  • Final prices may vary due to shipping rates, port charges, customs fees, or changes in shipment details.
  • Prices are confirmed only once an invoice is issued.
  1. Payments
  • We do not accept payments via this website.
  • All payments must be made directly to our business bank account as stated on the invoice.
  • We do not collect or store customer card or banking details.
  • Full payment is required before shipment unless agreed otherwise in writing.
  1. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must ensure that:

  • All items shipped are legal, properly packed, and accurately declared.
  • No prohibited, dangerous, or restricted goods are included.
  • All customs documentation provided is complete and truthful.

We reserve the right to refuse or delay shipment if items breach regulations or documentation is incomplete.

  1. Prohibited Items

We do not ship items including (but not limited to):

  • Cash, jewellery, weapons, drugs, flammable materials, perishables, or illegal goods.
  • Any items prohibited by UK law or the destination country.

The customer is fully responsible for the contents of their shipment.

  1. Liability & Insurance
  • Ramsay Shipping & Removals Service is not liable for loss, delay, or damage caused by third-party carriers, ports, customs authorities, or acts beyond our control.
  • We strongly recommend that customers arrange their own shipping insurance.
  • Any claims must be raised directly with the relevant carrier or insurer.
  1. Delays

Shipping times are estimates only. Delays may occur due to weather, customs clearance, port congestion, or operational issues. We are not responsible for such delays.

  1. Cancellations & Refunds
  • Once a shipment has been booked or dispatched, cancellation may not be possible.
  • Any refunds are at our discretion and may be subject to costs already incurred.
